MANUFACTURING

At Accord Plastics, your concepts are important to us and we listen closely to our clients’ needs. We have in-house tool and die capabilities and a tooling department that spends time to ensure that the tool design and engineering required are done carefully and strategically in order to achieve the results you the client are looking for. We want to save you time and money.

Our engineering team has a combined experience of over 50 years. They are here to assist you, advise you and help make your product the best it can be. We can engineer from initial sketch to finished product. We also have the ability to 3D model your ideas to ensure we get what you need produced in the quickest amount of time.

Our modern production facility located in Concord, Ontario currently houses 10 extruders. Each line is equipped with computer terminals, which provide our operators with real-time order and product information and reduces the use of paper in an effort to be more “green“.

“We take the time to understand what they need and value“. We believe in a working partnership where Accord shares our clients’ vision and our goal is to help them achieve theirs’.

TOOL & DIE

Engineering

Accord Plastics Corp. has one of the leading tooling design and fabrication departments in the industry. It has built its reputation on proven success over many years and an outstanding portfolio of clients. Our achievements span an array of markets that include but are not limited to the furniture, construction and automotive industries. Our highly experienced engineering department utilizes state of the art design and fabrication techniques and up-to-date software packages such as AutoCAD and Master Cam. We also have a fully integrated ERP System. All tooling and vacuum calibrators are constructed in-house.

Although PVC is the most frequently run material, more rigid and flexible polymers are within our design and processing expertise including ABS, Polypropylene, Santoprene and Styrene. These are considered to be some of the more challenging materials to work with. We are well-known for our ability to incorporate special processes and finishes. These specialty finishes include Mylar’s, vinyl laminates, embossing and hot foil transfers. Our philosophy of continuous improvement keeps us constantly searching for new and innovative materials.
