MANUFACTURING

At Accord Plastics, your ideas come first. We listen, plan, and turn concepts into parts that work. As a seasoned plastic extrusion manufacturer, we handle custom plastic extrusions manufacturing from sketch to shipment. Our in-house tool and die group designs and maintains the tooling that protects quality and saves time. You get stable runs that are cost effective and repeatable.

Our engineering team brings more than 50 years of experience as a plastic extrusion manufacturer. We review drawings, model parts, and confirm fit before we extrude plastic. You work with experts who speak plainly and move fast. Communication is clear. Decisions are documented. The result is a clean path from trial to production.

Our modern facility in Concord, Ontario runs 14 lines for extrusion plastic manufacturing. Each plastic extruder has real-time controls. Operators see order details and process settings on screen. This improves accuracy and reduces paper. You receive a high quality extruded product that matches the approved sample every time.

“We take the time to understand what you need and value.” We believe in partnership. We align with your goals and build a plan to meet them. Reliable plastic extrusion manufacturing is the outcome.

Rigid and Flexible Polymers

plastic extrusion manufacturers

leading tooling design & fabrication departments

Accord Plastics Corp. is a custom plastic extrusion manufacturer with a tooling department that earns trust. We support furniture, construction, automotive, appliances, and other markets. Our engineers use AutoCAD and Mastercam with a fully integrated ERP. We build dies and vacuum calibrators in-house. This shortens lead times and improves control.

PVC is our most common plastic material. We also run a wide range of thermoplastic materials to balance performance and cost:

  • ABS for strength and impact resistance
  • Polypropylene and Polyethylene for chemical resistance and light weight
  • Santoprene for flexible seals with good recovery
  • Styrene and Acrylic where stiffness or clarity is needed

As a plastic extrusion manufacturer, specialty finishes are available. We apply Mylar, vinyl laminates, embossing, and hot-foil transfers. When you need branding or surface protection, we plan those steps into the build.

Our capabilities and our mindset make us different. Many shops focus on one niche. We remain a true plastic extrusion manufacturer. We solve unique problems with practical, measurable methods.

PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES

For over 35 years as a plastic extrusion manufacturer, we’ve stayed focused on your ideas. As customer needs grew, our capacity grew too. We make many profile sizes and shapes in rigid and flexible PVC and other engineered plastic materials. If you need long lengths, tight curves, specific hardness, or detailed notches, we plan for that from the start.

We offer co-extrusion for layered designs. We can combine rigid and flexible in one part. We also make complex hollow shapes with modern vacuum tools. Our lines include single-screw and twin-screw machines, so we can match the setup to the resin and the part.

When you need tubing extrusion or a plastic tube, we size and cool the part for a smooth, continuous profile with precise ID and OD. Pullers keep the right line speed. Sizers protect the surface and shape. We cut and finish the ends so installation is easy.

Your drawing follows a clear, six-step process:

1) Define. Share sizes, tolerances, how the part will be used, and your timeline. We flag risks early.

2) Design. We propose die and calibrator ideas. We choose materials based on function, environment, and budget.

3) Trial. We run samples, check the fit, and make adjustments. You review and approve.

4) Document. We lock in settings, checkpoints, and packaging.

5) Produce. We run the plan, inspect parts, and ship with full traceability.

6) Support. We review results and suggest improvements when they add value.

Accord Plastics makes custom plastic extrusion profiles with many resins and special steps. The list below shows common work. We also enjoy new challenges and applying our process to new industries.

How our Plastic Extrusion Process Works?

The plastic extrusion process creates shapes with a repeatable cross section. We heat raw plastic into molten plastic. The resin flows through a precision die that defines the geometry. Vacuum calibrators set size. Cooling stabilizes the profile. Pullers maintain speed to protect surface and dimension. As a plastic extrusion manufacturer, we then cut to length and apply secondary steps.

Controls track barrel zones, melt temperature, vacuum level, and puller speed. Inline gauges monitor width, height, or wall where needed. These checks prevent drift and support your audits. For assemblies that also use plastic injection molding or metal, we plan the interface so parts fit with less rework.

What You Gain:

  • Consistency from run to run
  • Predictable cycle times
  • Clean appearance and stable fit
  • Easier installation and fewer field issues

Materials, Selection, and Performance

Picking the right resin is central to plastic manufacturing. We match the plastic material to the job:

  • PVC for balanced cost, stiffness, and weathering
  • Flexible PVC for compressible seals and quiet motion
  • ABS where strength and impact resistance are key
  • PP and PE when chemical or moisture resistance matters
  • Acrylic where clarity or smooth gloss is needed
  • Santoprene for flexible seals with strong recovery

We review temperature range, UV, chemicals, and loads. We confirm any compliance needs. We discuss color, texture, and gloss. We plan packaging to protect corners and surfaces. Good material selection sets the stage for success and keeps the part cost effective over the full program.

Why Teams Choose Accord Plastics Corp. for Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing?

  • Experience with complexity. Odd shapes, mixed durometers, and tight cosmetics are normal for us.
  • Scale when needed. Fourteen lines let us flex capacity.
  • Straight talk. You get answers, not jargon.
  • Value at volume. Standardized setups and scrap reduction keep costs down.
  • Reliable lead times. We plan capacity and communicate early.
  • Sustainability focus. Re-grind and reuse materials where allowed, and use smart packaging to cut waste and support plastic waste and pollution reduction.

We work hard to be one of the plastic extrusion manufacturer you rely on year after year. Many customers call us their long-term plastic extrusions manufacturer because we combine service, quality, and cost in a way that works.
